challangesHealth reform. An aging population. Increased demand for primary care physicians. Declining reimbursement. New and complex regulations and reporting requirements.

We are in the midst of the most significant change in healthcare in decades, and hospitals across the country are being challenged to keep up.

As a result, hospital administrators, board members and physicians are seeking partners who can help them navigate the new healthcare landscape.  In fact, in 2011 and 2012, nearly 200 hospital merger, sale or joint venture agreements were reached in the United States, and we’re on track for even more than that in 2013.

Hospitals in Southeastern Louisiana are not insulated from these changes, and as a result, hospital and physician leaders are also taking a strategic look at the future. If you are a leader entrusted with the future of healthcare in your community, you might be asking questions like: How will we ensure a prosperous future for our hospital? And, even more importantly, how will we fulfill our commitment to caring for the families who live and work in our community? Those are big questions to answer, and major decisions to make.
